• lastEntry() method is available in java.util package.

• lastEntry() method is used to return the entry (key-value pairs) that exists with the largest key element value in this TreeMap.

• lastEntry() method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object only and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.

The return type of the method is Map.Entry, it returns those key-value pairs with the greatest key element value otherwise it returns null.
