NXP iMX8系列处理器核心性能对比测试

1).?簡介
NXP iMX8系列ARM處理器是NXP近幾年新發布的產品,架構均升級到了64bit的ARMv8,其中包含了iMX8,iMX8x,iMX8M Mini,iMX8M Plus等一系列處理器,其基本參數屬性的對比可以參考下面來自于NXP官網的表格,而本文就從CPU核心、GPU核心、內存性能等幾個方面對于iMX8系列的不同產品做一個簡單對比測試供參考。需要注意的是Benchmark測試無法做到絕對完整客觀,通常和軟硬件系統配置以及所采用的Benchmark工具有很大的相關性,不同配置或工具可能得出不同結論,因此本文的測試只是基于本文測試環境以及所用Benchmark工具的參考數據。
本文所采用的全部測試平臺均來自于Toradex iMX8?系列ARM核心板和對應載板。
2).?準備
a).?Apalis iMX8QM?4GB?WB IT?ARM核心版配合Ioxra?載板,連接調試串口UART1(載板X22)到開發主機方便調試。
b).?Colibri iMX8QXP 2GB WB IT?ARM核心板配合Colibri Evaluation Board載板,連接調試串口UART1(載板X27)到開發主機方便調試。
c).?Verdin iMX8M Mini Quad 2GB WB IT?ARM核心板配合Verdin Development Board?載板,連接調試串口UART1(載板X66)到開發主機方便調試。
d).?Verdin iMX8M Plus Quad 4GB WB IT?ARM核心板配合Verdin Development Board?載板,連接調試串口UART1(載板X66)到開發主機方便調試。
3).?預設軟件測試環境
a).?所有測試模塊均更新為Toradex?Ycoto Linux Reference Multimedia Image?5.3.0 Quarterly?版本。
b).?參考這里的說明在Linux下將所有測試模塊的CPU核心工作模式設置為?”performance”,也就是持續運行在最高主頻。

本文從CPU、GPU、內存等幾個方面簡單對NXP iMX8系列嵌入式ARM處理器家族產品進行了一些benchmark測試,從結果可以看到iMX8QM各方面性能都是非常領先的;iMX8X強調功耗性能比,非常均衡;iMX8M Mini和iMX8M Plus在CPU方面基本相當,GPU則是iMX8M Plus領先巨大,同時iMX8M Plus還擁有一個神經網絡算法加速的NPU核心,綜合下來iMX8M Plus性能還是好于iMX8M Mini。
