近日，看到了VMware發(fā)布的vCenter 6.7 Update 1b的更新消息。其中有一條比較震撼。有誤刪所有VM的概率，這種BUG誰也承受不起。
Removing a virtual machine folder from the inventory by using the vSphere Client might delete all virtual machines
In the vSphere Client, if you right-click on a folder and select Remove from Inventory from the drop-down menu, the action might delete all virtual machines in that folder from the disk and underlying datastore, and cause data loss.
This issue is resolved in this release.

所以，趕快升級(jí)vCenter。我的VC是基于Windows 2016和SQL server 2017的6.7.0 10244807。其實(shí)也是非常新的版本了。
更新的時(shí)候只需要下載最新的文件VMware-VIM-all-6.7.0-11726888.iso。然后直接安裝其中的vCenter就會(huì)自動(dòng)升級(jí)的。

升級(jí)的時(shí)候遇到一個(gè)錯(cuò)誤。

Installation of component VCSServiceManager failed with error code '1603'. Check the logs for more details.

然后開始回滾。這個(gè)錯(cuò)誤網(wǎng)上找了幾個(gè)方法，說要裝.net framework 3.5來解決的。其實(shí)不用，根本不是這個(gè)原因。
還有說當(dāng)前用戶需是vcdb數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)的所有者，這個(gè)是官方KB，但是檢查了，設(shè)置沒有問題。感覺這個(gè)有點(diǎn)沾邊了。

看了很多文章和檢查日志后。通過以下2個(gè)設(shè)置并重啟服務(wù)器解決了問題。

1.將administrator@vsphere.local加入DCAdmin組
點(diǎn)擊Home-Administration-Users and Groups-DCAdmins,點(diǎn)擊下方的添加用戶。把a(bǔ)dministrator@vsphere.local 加進(jìn)來。

如果看不到圖，點(diǎn)我。

2.啟用SQL server的 Name pipes和TCP/IP
在開始菜單中找到SQL server configuration manager，打開SQL Server網(wǎng)絡(luò)配置-MSSQLSERVER的協(xié)議 啟用Named Pipes和TCP/IP。這步需要重啟SQL服務(wù)生效。

再次安裝vCenter，成功。版本更新到了11727065。
