Abstract：In this paper,it introduces the design and implementation of DCMA-xx wireless network card's driver in Linux platform,which is made of Atheros chip. According to the analysis of Ath5k source code in Linux system,it mainly researchs the working theory of the initialization of wireless device,the data receiving and sending process,the interrupt handling mechanism and the AP scanning module.In this paper,the hardware platform is PowerPC processor based development board.and then implements the driver of DCMA-xx wirelss network card,last illustrates a implementation method of Atheros wireless chip network card's driver in Linux system.
